Phoenix Carbon

The Capabilities

THE CAPABILITIES AND APPLICATIONS

Lighting Our Communities

TCOM can provide power to run our communities, supply fuels for their vehicles, and enrich the soils at their parks and open spaces. By converting much of the municipal wastes created every day, TCOM transforms obligation into opportunity and costs into savings and revenue. By being able to locate nearly anywhere, it increases options for how we organize our towns and urban systems and offers a way to reduce the vulnerabilities of our vital urban power networks.

Running Our Vehicles

Clean-burning, high-energy TCOM-produced diesels can fuel off-road and on-road automobiles, trucks, and equipment. Networks of TCOM installations co-located with municipal or commercial waste management sites can create a network of distributed waste management and fueling centers, reducing many of the existing transportation costs and large commitments of land resources many municipalities and industries must bear today.

Fueling Our Ships

TCOM-produced marine diesels can propel today’s modern maritime vessels. TCOM systems on larger ships can supplement existing fuel and power supplies and support other vital shipboard functions.

Powering Our Aircraft

Phoenix Carbon synthetic kerosene equivalents are aircraft-ready and capable of powering contemporary jet aircraft. When located at operating centers at or near airfields, TCOM systems can take care of daily organic wastes while supplementing aircraft fuel stores.

Enhancing Our Agriculture

The carbons produced by the TCOM system are capable of improving soil productivity by 20 – 200%, enhancing moisture and nutrient retention, and reducing the threats from certain funguses and insect pests. TCOM systems will convert wastes from agricultural operations into fuels to run equipment, transforming the costs of transporting or otherwise disposing of agricultural wastes into operational savings or potential sources of additional revenue.

TCOM can make agricultural lands more productive and operations more efficient.

Supporting Remote & Exploratory Operations

A disadvantage of many remote human activities is the need to carry the fuels needed to provide the food, transportation, or climate control needed to sustain human life and the activity. By converting onsite wastes into needed fuels, power, heat, and soil amendments, TCOM can provide the life and operational support often constrained by the amount of supplies that can be carried in, or replenished through often long and hazardous lines of support. TCOM can furnish this support virtually anywhere, whether in forests, deserts, polar regions, or non-terrestrial environments.

Clearing Our Trash

TCOM can intercept and convert the organic wastes that normally go into landfills daily, creating valuable byproduct from trash to be disposed of. By mining portions of the landfill itself, many once noxious dump sites can be put to other, more valuable human uses.

Supporting Disaster Relief

The immediate aftermath of natural disasters is often loss of shelter, power, food, and sanitation accompanied by a lot of organic debris. Mobile TCOM systems can react immediately to convert that debris into life-sustaining power, heat, and sanitation.
